...at least she thinks so.
how would one know, anyway?
how can one finally proudly say, "i'm over it"?
the way your heart wouldn't beat as fast when you see her/him?
the way your hands wouldn't sweat as much?
the way that your heart wouldn't flutter so when s/he simply says your name?
the way that you simply dismiss all those jokes your friends throw at you whenever s/he is mentioned?
but really - who are we kidding?we all know the feeling is still there.
always.
it may not be as strong as before, but
it's there. and it's
undeniable. some people can just hide it easily.
you just learn sooner or later that to keep yourself from
hurting, you'll have to bury the feeling and cover it in your subconscious, claim and convince yourself that you're
"over it" and that you
"deserve someone better" - until one day, when you see her/him again, or s/he simply touches you or says something, or whatever it is - it will simply make you forget who you are, forget all those horrible things you think and know s/he is, forget all those advice your friends have given you on how there is someone better for you out there, and then you'll be surprised:
you're back at the start all over again.so no one, and i mean
no one, completely gets over someone.
and there goes another blabber out of me. :) boredom inspires me to write, so sue me. :P
