our hopes and expectations.
this is gonna be long, mind you.*inhale*
funny, after contemplating on things, i actually quite feel a pang of
pity for
A. after placing all of A's trust on little
W and telling W all of A's darkest secrets, W just ends up
spilling them all just because W is angry at A. for crying out loud -
a secret is a secret. no matter how much of a big
jerk your friend is, and he told you a secret, you'll have to
keep it -
even though you guys are having a misunderstanding/fight (it can even be worse if you're spilling all his secrets and he doesn't even have a clue that you're angry at him). besides, W, i
should be mad at you too. W knew beforehand how A was gonna lie to us, and W still chose to keep
quiet about it. if A hadn't done "that", would W have spilled A's lies and secrets?
probably not.
of course NOT. W's
not any different from A. don't get me wrong - i'm not mad at W. just...disappointed. and you know what's really sad? W is a friend and all, but of all the many people i
won't tell my secrets to, W is the number one in my list. W just can't seem to
shut his mouth about secrets.
but no, i'm still
not over what A has done. i value friendship and
honesty more than anything in the world. if you betray me and lie to me with you meaning it, then i'm sorry. no matter how much you apologize, what's done is done.
there's nothing you can ever say or do that can ever change that.and seriously,
Mr. E and W, get over yourselves. i am no good in giving advice - i blatantly say whatever it is needed to be said, for you to get it over with. i'm not anymore gonna be one of those people who'll say,
"you deserve so much better",
"there's someone out there for you" and whatnot. of course i still believe in that, but those kinds of advice, as i realized, do not work at all. go ahead, if you want to
keep on tormenting yourself, then get all bitter. but there's no one else who's gonna end up hurting but yourself.
not everyone's gonna adjust their ways just to make
you feel better.
we can't all be saints and martyrs here. it's every man for himself. people would be
caught up in their own worlds making themselves happy to give a damn on what you're feeling - i suggest you do it yourself. it's selfish, but
so are you for bitching around because you didn't get what you want. you moping in the little corner just because you're not getting what you want is not going to change anything. and didn't anyone tell Mr. E and W? as cliche as it goes,
life's not fair. you can't always get what you want, Mr. E and W. ;)
and i quote Clyde -
"people, after having been tormented and broken, will sometimes choose to be distant and detached — all for preserving their self-worth and protecting what self-respect they have left." - 'nuff said. if you don't get over yourself, you'll end up having only that pride you've been holding on and nothing else.
and please, W, stop blaming
only A for what happened. you have to face the fact that
J was the root cause. so shut up and stop whining.
*exhale*
phew! that was miiighty long. again. haha. :) and just so you guys know, if you haven't found out already,
i'm a keen observer.
nothing worth mentioning passes through these eyes. ;)
btw,
bloggers, please do refrain from posting typed out or scanned portions of the Twilight books or first chapter of Breaking Dawn. making portions of the book available online or for download is
violating SM's copyright (unless you have written permission from her or her publisher). quoting a sentence or two is fine, but anything beyond that is in violation of copyright. (and of course, summarizing it is also fine - since you used your own words)

anywaaay, you know what
i find weird?
guys reading Twilight. for me, Twilight is just really centered on the teenage girls' demographic, and a guy reading it is funny for me. of course i tell my guy friends to read it to relate with my gushes, but it's not like they'd follow my advice. so yeah. it's really just...yeah, weird. even most sane guys who read Twilight are ashamed of reading it. not that they don't like it, but as stereotypes go, it's really a chick novel. haha. sure, the novel's about vampires, werewolves and battles, but it's basically a
love story. it's a fact that only a few guys can appreciate/tolerate
love story and
cheesy lines compressed in a 600-page novel - no matter how
good it's written.
funny - more and more people are getting engrossed to
Twilight.
welcome to the dark side, people. we have cookies AND Edward Cullen. :D
Rech visited us yesterday in our office. we missed her! we didn't really get to catch up and whatnot last week. it's just nice to sit and talk about whatever under the sun with your friends in a quiet coffee shop and make one hell of a noise with no care in the world. :) we were all supposed to watch
My Sassy Girl yesterday, but since it still isn't showing, we decided to watch
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. buuuut! being the unlucky bitches that we are, our movie date was canceled again coz KP had to go to her family thing. so we're watching Narnia on
monday. oh good God, please don't let anything
stop our plan this time! haha. :D
ok, ok, i'll stop my nonsense-blabbing for now. :D
later, dearies! ;)
and for the question of the day (ironically enough, Rech, haha), "Why do girls like/love Edward Cullen?" well, aside from the obvious - he's the epitome of the perfect guy in every girl's dream: drop-dead gorgeous, rich, gentleman, and mushy in all the right ways - he LISTENS. and i quote Kaleb, "[He] is still obsessed with everything about Bella. He wants her to go far back into her family history, and what foods she eats, what her old home was like, what music she listens to. He literally wants to know everything about her." every girl wants that. who would want a partner who's too busy playing video games than spending a time with you? like what Bella said - the looks and the money are just a plus. his mere personality is enough for a girl to fall in love with. and no, don't say, "whatever, that's easy. i can do that. i can be that guy." can you throw yourself in front of a bullet just to save us or something? we have to face it: Edward-Cullen-type-of-guys are hard to find - if there ever existed such. this, my dear readers, is why i love my Edward Anthony Masen Cullen. :) now, guys out there, why won't you focus on to matters of greater importance, such as figuring out how to become Edward Cullen? haha. as if, dear. as if. :PI love you. I want you. Right now.
