okay.
this is it. i just really have to let this all
out coz i can't
stomach the crap commonly known as
Breaking Dawn. this might contain certain
spoilers, don't continue reading if you
don't want to get spoiled (duh). you have been
warned.
first of all, i can't believe
some people
like this
crap book. yes, only
SOME. and yes, they
actually LIKE it.
whut?! and the worse thing is, some say they
like BD coz they love the series so much and is so
dedicated to it. excuse me?! the book's quality doesn't
depend on
loyalty, fyi. good God, if it's horrible, then IT. IS. HORRIBLE. period. then again, people are entitled to their
own opinion, but seriously?
seriously???most people (the reasonable ones and who actually knows literature), however, who have read the book actually
stopped reading at some point. they can't take all the
fail. haha. i can see where they're coming from. it really is just such utter failure. it was as if New Moon and Eclipse
never happened. or even
Twilight itself
never happened! like it was a completely
different and stand-alone book that it has
no right to be included in the series. haha.
i sound so serious business. hahaha!!
basically, it was as if Meyer just
gave the fans what they
wanted - B and E wed, have the magical sex (fade to black. fail. oh and good going, Bella. crying coz Edward won't have sex with you is really a nice touch.), change B into a vamp (and because she's so *special*, she adapts to the human so fast. SAY WHAT?!?), and J have his own happy ending. but seriously, this is just... i'm literally at a
loss for words. and as it turns out, they should've just seriously gave us what we
NEED instead of what we
WANT because this is just utter failure. and i can't believe the publishers even
thought that this was
worth publishing. ugh. maybe they're also on
crack like Meyer is. there weren't even any
epic fights! wtf?! this better
NOT be made into a movie. they'd
ruin my RPattz's career. haha.
if Meyer simply wanted to step
out of the
vampire norm, then she's successful - what author in the
right mind would let a friggin' vampire
impregnate?! i want to seriously see how Meyer
explains how the HELL
E gets B impregnated (and what's with the fucking name?! Renesmee Carlie?!?!? and it's a half-vampire and grows up so darn fast?!? and who the hell would call their baby "nudger"?!); and how she
lied on not introducing
new characters when there are basically a lot; and
why in the effing world would she make
J imprint on the mutant baby?! i mean, i'm certainly
FAR from being a J fan, but seriously??? hahahaha! it's like, "Hi, Nessie
(yes, that's the nickname). Call me Uncle Jacob. But when you grow up, you can call me Lover Jacob. I used to really love your mother. But now that you're here, you are the only one. You are my life now. Smell me." and it's just so convenient that after
6 years, Nessie would be
18 years old, and stay at that age
forever. and of
everybody loves the kid
of course. she's perfect, beautiful, strong, and smart. OF COURSE.
another Mary Sue here. everything is just so f*cking
convenient in Meyer's universe.
great. and is Meyer a
closet pedophile? first it was Quil (and don't even get me started on how creepy Quil's imprinting is) and now it's Jacob. oh God. this is so
bad, it's not even
funny anymore. just utterly depressing and sad. haha. and do i need to mention how
many the
typos are? did this even undergo the
editing process?

my reaction after reading BD.
sure there are
some parts that i liked, the
wedding was sweet, and
J's narration was so refreshing and funny, and at least
E and J have come to a truce - they were even funny together. but other than that, blah. the
baby really
killed the book. all the sexiness, mystery, and chemistry have gone
out the window. to think that's what makes this series so
addicting. ugh.
and E has seriously gone
crazy during B's pregnancy. he even suggested to
J to impregnate B instead just for her to have a normal baby. sure, E said that he was just
kidding at the end and he was simply going on a
frenzy coz B was in a lot of pain (but duh, she could live. you're going to turn her into a f*cking vamp anyway), but still. it seemed so
out of character.
i've honestly read a better fanficton, he has
never been more over-reactive, emo, self-loathing, and not to mention this is the cheesiest he's ever been. it was "Bella, my love" in every sentence. and
why the HELL would E have to
call C to ask if B is
preggers?
Meyer, you made him go to
med school. TWICE. my E is
not stupid! i think Meyer secretly
hates him.
"Goodbye, Jacob. My brother... my son." - one of the LULZiest quotes in the book. OMG. i'm seriously crying out of laughter. guess who said that. HAHAHAHA.
and B has a friggin'
love shield. yes. just like
Lily Potter. what in the effin' world?! hahaha! and she's such a
Mary Sue that when she was
turned, she
adapts with the humans so
fast. no killing, no year of
insanity,
no blood-thirst. WHUT?! but the part i liked though was when B put down her shield and E can finally
hear her thoughts. but that's at the
very end part, though. bwahahaha.
faaaail. And then the Volturi. WTF. they come with this big group of vampires and then they're like "Oh, sorry. We were wrong, have a nice day." fail, fail, fail. gah. okay i should stop now. coz i would not stop talking about my
complaints (such an understatement) about the book. it might even be
as long as the book itself, maybe even
more. blah, blah, blah. and again, need i not remind you that this is just
my (and majority of twilighters')
opinion? don't go leaving
outraged comments now if you actually liked the book. you can write them in a
constructive way. ;) and i personally think the
12-15 year-olds would
love it coz they're too, as i quote,
"dedicated to the series that they'd look past the flaws". riiiiight. if it sucks, it
sucks. if it's bullshit, it's
bullshit. period. please listen to the grown-ups, kiddos.
"Many of Stephanie Meyer's fans will fail to see anything wrong, many of them are young and hung up on the ideal of the perfect Edward, the perfect Love without even acknowledging the message this is sending to them. Already we have enough teen pregnancies, babies having babies, and struggling to be both and parent and a child. This book tells you that it's okay. Having children that young is Okay." i quote
J. Rogers for one of the
best reviews about BD
so far from Amazon where it currently has an overall rating of
2.5 stars. yes, you saw that right. 2.5. you can read the rest of the review
here. and all reviews are
here.
and
DON'T WATCH THE MUMMY 3. it's another fail. ugh,
too much fail this week. maybe if i read BD the
second time, it wouldn't be as bad. haha. and i'm getting
my copy of BD first thing on
monday. i'm kinda
OC, i want to
collect everything
no matter how bad it is. and it's
already been paid anyway haha. well, what do you girlies think? later, bitches! :]]
oh and if you guys are planning to read the book, please do come back when you finish it and comment again here and tell me what you guys think. ;) [coz i refuse to write another post discussing the fail that is BD. haha]
You're killing my buzz.
